Crazy how within mere months, the number of EVM networks has multiplied and we’re all now spoiled for choice. MoonTools is here with an update to bring you more multi-network exploration tools!

MoonTools community members may have noticed that over the past several months, the team has been rather quiet, the MoonTools app has had various issues, and there have been a lack of app updates.
Behind the scenes, the team has been working hard to build technical infrastructure from the ground up to solve recurring data latency and accuracy issues in the app. It wasn’t easy, and we faced many hurdles along the way.
This work was necessary as our previous upstream data provider, The Graph, consistently failed to provide accurate and real-time data. With our new in-house infrastructure, we overcome these issues and can build new features faster, with confidence, and without dependencies on unreliable data from third parties.
Now, we are proud to share with our community what we’ve been busy with!
MoonTools v1.2.0 Release Notes
Data Source Improvements
The MoonTools app now sources data from our new in-house infrastructure.
This means:
- BSC Pair Explorer now works
- No more annoying “Data is delayed” warnings
- Improved accuracy and latency of price, chart, and transaction data
- Telegram alerts now work for tokens across all chains
- Charts for tokens with reflection mechanics now work properly
- We can add integrations for new EVM chains with ease
Historical chart data is being indexed in the background by our servers, and full chart history will appear in the app over time.

Work on MoonTools 2.0 is underway. Here’s what to expect:
- MoonTools brand refresh + website + app promo video
- MoonTools app UI overhaul revamp & front-end features (dashboard, wallet explorer, social features, themes, etc).
- New app features: Dashboard, Social Integration, Themes
- Aggregated charts and token/pair data
- Revised tokenomics, changes in user access requirements, tiers and MOONS liquidity allocation across exchanges
