Greetings Earthlings,

The MoonTools v0.3.0 beta update just in time for the holidays. Here’s a look at what our devs have been busy with.

Mobile + Desktop Applications (beta)

We have added full Progressive Web App (PWA) support to MoonTools. You can now install our app on your mobile and desktop devices and use MoonTools like a native application!

Improved Pair Explorer

We’ve upgraded the pair explorer with a bunch of new features and improvements.

MoonTools Pair Explorer gets an upgrade in v0.3.0

More token/pair information

  • Added quick links to useful websites and project information
  • Added one-click access to token contract code and holders list
  • Added “Share” button to easily share a link to the pair page

Liquidity transactions table

  • Added a table of liquidity transactions for each pair (“adds” and “removes”)

Historical chart data

  • Added support for historical chart data
  • Added more interval options for TradingView charts

Persistent chart indicators

  • TradingView chart indicators are now saved and restored when navigating between different pairs

News Page

The “News” page is our new home in the MoonTools app. Here you can stay updated on announcements from the team and discover new projects.

MoonTools gets a new “News” page

The “Featured Projects” section on the News page includes both sponsored projects and projects which have been nominated by our community. We do a basic level of checks to verify the legitimacy of these projects, but you should always do your own research before investing in anything.

Settings Page + Device Sync

On the Settings page, you can manage settings and app preferences. Currently, users will be able to sync settings between devices and reset settings for a particular device.

Now you can sync Favorites, Multiswap pairs and other app settings between devices.

We will be adding more settings and app preferences in the near future.

General Improvements

  • Clicking on token/pair addresses now copies the full address
  • Searching for token/pair address search is no longer case-sensitive
  • Pair explorer URL’s are no longer case-sensitive
  • Added support for searching for token symbols using a mix of lower/uppercase characters
  • Favorite pairs are now sorted alphabetically
  • Improved search UI
  • Improved mobile search UX
  • Updated UI on all pages to be a bit more consistent throughout the app

What’s next?

We’re planning to release MoonTools v1 together with tiered memberships in Q1 2021. Until then, we’re detailing our current product roadmap in an upcoming article.
